- How do I add a photos to a message?
- Add photo(s) to favorites then click 'post new message' or "'reply' then click 'add photo(s)' link. Click photo to add photo to message and click photo to remove photo from message.
If you're uploading photos to Decorpad then you must 'Upload Photo(s)' to DecorPad then click 'post new message' or "'reply' then click 'add photo(s)' link. Click photo to add photo to message and click photo to remove photo from message.
- How do I view post?
- Click on text of posts to read messages.
- How can I differentiate between read and unread messages?
- Click on the subject text of any post and the text will turn gray. So all unread posts should be black and all read posts should be gray. You must be logged into DecorPad to use this function!
- How do I post a new message?
- Click on 'post new message' link at the top of any of the forum pages.
- How do I reply to a post?
- Click on 'reply' link which is located at the bottom of every message.
- How do I edit or delete a post?
- Posts cannot be deleted by members, but members can edit posts within the first five minutes of posting a message. Click on 'edit' link which is located at the bottom of every message.
- What is a set?
- A set is a group or collection of photos, bookmarks, looks 4 less and/or posts.
- How do I create a set?
- Choose 'my sets' on 'my decorpad' menu then click on 'create new set' link OR click on 'add to set' link for photos, bookmarks looks 4 less and/or posts.
- How do I email more than one photo, bookmark, look 4 less and/or post at a time?
- Add photos, bookmarks, looks 4 less and/or posts to a set then email the entire set by clicking on the email icon on the set details' page.
- How do I add a custom signature to my posts?
- Click on 'my decorpad' choose 'my account' then 'my signature.' All this information will be added to the end of each and every post you submit on any of our forums!
- How do I add a blog to my posts?
- Add blog to custom signature: Click on 'my decorpad' choose 'my account' then 'my signature.'
- How do I 'bookmark' an item?
- First, you must add the 'Save to DecorPad' link to your toolbar. Please click this link for directions! Please go directly to the website of the item you would like to bookmark. Choose item then click on 'Save to DecorPad' link, located on your toolbar, and wait for a modal window to open. Choose photo, choose category and then add tags and comments. That's it! :)
- How do I change my member name?
- Unfortunately, member names cannot be changed.
- I would like to be notified when I get DecorPad mail. How do I do this?
- Go to 'my decorpad' choose 'my account' then 'mail settings.'
- How do I reply to DecorPad mail?
- Go to 'my decorpad' choose 'mail' then click on any message. Click reply icon to reply to message.
- How do I change my avatar?
- Click on 'my decorpad' then choose 'my account.' Upload new avatar OR click on default avatar.
- How do I create a clickable link?
- All URL links will be automatically converted into clickable links.
- How do I view a member's dashboard?
- Click on member's name or use search/view box in the top, right corner of any page. Choose 'member name' in the drop down menu and type in a member's name in the 'enter keywords' box to view member's dashboard.
- I deleted one of my photos but it is still on DecorPad?
- Yes, even though a member deletes a photo from their account, it does not delete the photo from the server. Please contact us if you would like a photo hard deleted from our server.
- How do I deactivate my account?
- Please click on the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page to send us the request.
- How do I get a direct link to a post?
- Click on 'permalink' link which is located at the bottom of every message.
- What are 'miscellaneous' photos?
- Miscellaneous photos are photos that are not 'spaces.' Please choose this category if you are uploading photos of furniture, fashion items, beauty products, food, pets, friends & family, etc...
