I just wanted to share with you guys a gift I made for my husband's grandfather (a man who has everything - we all know at least one of those, right?). I saw one on www.redenvelope.com that I loved, but didn't want to pay $100 for it. So, I found all the goodies to make my version at Michaels for super cheap and here's the finished product...



The most difficult part was creating the template for the tree trunk and actually doing all the research on the geneology. The cutting and glueing took me no time at all with the help of an exacto knife and a glue gun!

Seriously, what a thoughtful gift!! How cool if it gets passed down thru the generations, too. You got skills, T!
