We are remodeling a 1965 split level with a wide entryway and need help with a number of design decisions. It's a blank slate!
* what to do to flank each wall with going up the steps (should we do the same thing on both walls?)
* railing options
* chandelier
* console/chest
* rugs on the landings vs. runners
We've painted the walls a very nice neutral - Glidden Wishes and plan on doing slate floors to replace the broken brick.
Want to make a welcoming entryway to our home! Love the thought of a chinoisserie chest and and pagoda pendant light...red would look lovely with the wall color.
