Those of you who have a lucite table (coffee, console, etc)..........does it scratch easily & if so, are the scratches visibley annoying? I know it probably depends on the manufactured piece but just thought I'd ask. Am thinking of getting a lucite coffee table for our LR (which is STILL sans table after 5 yrs) but w/ a 7 mo old who will be toddling around wreaking havoc/party-fouling before we know it....not too sure if it's the best option.

And also, have you seen any other affordable options out there? I like the clean lines of this CB2 one but am cheap. HA!

THANKS!! =]

and it has small scratches on the surface. The scratches are from the weight of vases but they are not that visible unless you get very close to the trunk - Like you have to look for them.

Aww, Quinn! If you're just placing books on the table I don't see much damage but if it's being used as a semi-dining table then it will probably get a lot of wear and tear.

Thx for the specifics! I love that acrylic trunk of yours.

Yeah, it'll be mostly for a coffee table book & for people to place their drinks.......Quinnie will probably attack it w/ sticky hands & crayons before too long, ha!

It's been awhile since I've been on DP in the evening hours. Hey remember when some of us used to get buzzed up & hop on here to chat about decor? Ah Hotpockets...........=]
