Although it feels like we're shopping for a used car, we're really shopping for a new mattress! It's hard to feel like you're not getting scammed by the sales people, at least at the stores we've visited.
Anyone out there have a recommendation for decent mattress? We're not really fans of the foam or pillow top mattress. Just looking for an old fashioned extra firm inner spring... hopefully one that will last longer than the three year old back breaker we're sleeping on now, LOL!

So we're in the same boat looking for a mattress for our master bedroom. As I've been looking I keep thinking about our son's bottom bunk bed mattress. It is SO comfy! Surprisingly, we never tested it out when we bought it. Just ordered a firm pillow top from Restoration Hardware to go with the bunk beds. Maybe try them?
It's not inner spring but definitely worth checking out. You'll either love it or hate it...there's no in between.
