Nursery makeoverChristina306.27.2012 @ 09:49:12 AM

Now that I know that this last baby is also a girl I am ready to commit to decorating our new homes nursery. I really have my heart set on pink but I'm not sure what color paint to use and about bedding. Any suggestions? The furniture is all off white (vanilla).

I was originally going to do white but couldn't resist the pinks! it is very soft and light

After having 2 little girls and living in 3 houses in less than 4 years where I have had to paint my daughters' rooms, I have deemed myself an expert on shades of pink. I have been fortunate with some, and not so fortunate with others. White Dogwood is a very pretty pale pink and I think it would go beautifully with your furniture.

I have also had luck with Cotton Candy by Benjamin Moore.

And congrats on having a little girl! My two girls bring me all sorts of joy and blessings.

My sister in law painted my niece's room a pale pink with similar (white/off white furniture). She then added brighter pinks in the pillows and rug for pops of color which looked wonderful!
